T-mobile definitely needed to do something like to step up their game, smart move.

Finally this makes them a viable competitor to O2 (who currently seem to be leading the consumer market), and Vodaphone (who dominate the business market).

Competition can only be a good thing ultimately for consumers - better technologies emerging, and better prices.

This is fantastic!! Similar to cloud computing enabling you to work from any PC, this would allow you to use any handset - but keep the same data and configurations across the move. Awesome.

Especially as many large companies still ban Facebook for “being a time waster”. Perhaps though this is an indication that business and social networks are to become more tightly integrated..
